A Wild Rose

After a wet morning the sun came out and the afternoon was pleasantly warm - and dry.   We had a stroll by the Rochdale Canal at Slattocks, near Middleton, Manchester, where there were plenty of Wild Roses - (Dog Rose - Rosa Canina).    They looked lovely in the afternoon sun.
