Lace Musem

Because of the really awful weather again today I took myself off to the Lace Guild Museum in Stourbridge. They have a display of lace from the V & A Collection. This is a minute bit of Flounce Needle Lace from about 1867 and which was exhibited at the Paris International Exhibition of that year. All the pieces were mostly on red cloth and lit with lights and mirrors so it was difficult to get just this. But I’m pleased with it
