Bookclub

Busy day today. I had my art class this morning and my bookclub meeting this afternoon. I decided to blip the book we have been reading.
In art we were looking at painting fur/hair. I did a close up of one of our cats that may appear in a later blip.
I thought the book was a bit of a curates egg. Some bits on the well known stories she had covered were fascinating. Some bits much less interesting. She was a complex character who must have been lucky at cards because she certainly wasn’t lucky at love! :-). As I had chosen the book, the meeting was at my house. I had made a chocolate cake to go with our refreshments. It was yummy. The book got a poor score, but the discussion was really good.
