Chalk and cheese...

...kinda day from the last few!!
Nate and I spent the morning in the park, he then napped at the perfect time to meet Jud for a coffee and catch up! Also wonderful to see Juliette who popped by Nude. 
Bumped into one of the homeless guys who's had everything nicked, so going to try and cobble together some kind of emergency bag of stuff for him.
Asha and I made a couple of batches of walnut macarons, topped with freshly ground coffee...one batch for James's birthday and another for her friend's family. The friend is the daughter of that incredibly hospitable Moroccan family from a few weeks ago...she's coming to play for the day tomorrow, so thought I'd send her home with something for her Mom.

We headed up the hill to James and Rich's place to celebrate J's birthday - a lovely chilled time. Now home and we've collected an extra child, Isabel...she, Asha and Nate are all in the same bedroom, hope they sleep ok. They got to bed just after 11!!!!!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Some concentrated park time with Nate - extra pic.
2) Jud.
3) Some good news for my sister.
