Braving the Elements

This little coal tit looked so small and vulnerable, I wonder how they would cope in a severe winter, their feathers look so light but of course they do survive. This image is not so sharp, it's a bit hit and miss on the digital zoom but I liked it anyway! I'm so enjoying blipping birds at the moment, I would love to try a few shots with Rosie's DSLR.
The house feels very empty today, everyone gone and Rachel out socialising in Schull, I was quite looking forward to a peaceful day with the place to myself but it hasn't felt quite right!!
