An unexpected day

Today we had planned to come home at lunch time to spend the afternoon with friends at the sales but after a prolonged goodbye to nanny and grandad and persuading nanny that no she couldn't keep cam but yes she could come a visit at the weekend we headed home. Our house is only 50 miles from nanny and grandad's but today this journey took us a grand total of 6 hours. It seems everyone else had the same idea to go home today and the M25 did a great impression of a car park. By the time we got home cam was not best pleased but playtime with daddy after dinner with his new bus soon perked him up.
