The shadows lengthen

This evening the light was beautiful, the storm past and the water was calm as we walked to look out over the marinas. Earlier we had taken ‘cruiser’ bikes from the hotel and cycled 22 miles on a return trip to the next town. I find the hard male saddles pretty unforgiving despite buying a comfort cover. Tonight, we had pizza and salad to save on the expensive hotel meal.
