Flag Day Parade

My town held it's annual Flag Day Parade this evening.  The only motorized vehicles allowed were the cop car that lead the procession and the fire trucks that brought up the rear.
Veteran associations and scout troupes were well represented but everyone was invited to march.  Children were encouraged to ride their bikes and even dogs on leashes were welcome. 
It made me feel proud to watch them pass in front of my house.
