I always like watching the watchers...

... at events like the 'Pride in Diversity' march today.

This couple were clearly more than spectators but had obviously decided to slip out of the crowd when they spotted, and quickly grabbed, a table outside a restaurant on the route. It was lunchtime after all and, by the look of things, time for a pointed discussion.

There are usually people on the pavement looking bemused, confused or downright disapproving (see first extra) and it is nice to see genuine pleasure from spectators too (second extra).
