Female Kestrel

Those of us who have been following the two kestrel families in the park are feeling really sad. A dog walker came across a headless corpse of a kestrel on Wednesday evening. As we have not seen one of the Mums since then we can only assume that it was her. Dad has been so busy as he is now rearing 3 chicks on his own.
This female flew over my head into the willow as I was cycling out of the park. She was quite happy for me to take a few photos of her.
