Birthday treats

I've been spoilt today, from gorgeous roses from my mother to wonderful books by the menfolk, of course there was cake (baked myself) and to top it all off the first water lily flower is in bloom (although much of the day it has been raining, again !) I was never a fan of my own birthdays but nowadays it's indeed something to celebrate, I'm still here and the brain is still working ...
