Carnival Time

After a week of indifferent weather and even showers this morning, thankfully the rain held off for the Totton and Eling carnival Procession this afternoon.
It’s one of the most spectacular and lengthy processions around, and always a joy to watch.
I found spectators lining the route at least an hour before start time, and I was delighted to see support for the many floats and marching bands along with one or two other participants all joining in the fun.
