Sheep at Stowe

Mr K headed off to London for his interview bright and early this morning. And Miss L headed off to school loaded with luggage and soft toys for her sleepover at Miss E's tonight. To say they've both been giddy is an understatement!!
I met Mrs L at Stowe after dropping off the Little Misses. She's never been before and it was a perfect day for her to see it, looking all gorgeous in the sunshine. And the lambs were cute!
We had a lovely walk around the lake and then back up for some lunch in the cafe.
There was a Mother's Day tea this afternoon at Miss L's school. It was less chaotic than last year! Yummy cakes and sandwiches - and plenty for Miss L which is always a bit hit and miss at her school events. 
Unfortunately Miss E's mum called me to say that Miss E wasn't in school today as she was poorly so the sleepover was off. Poor Miss L, she was devastated!!
I was worried because it was Miss E's birthday sleepover tonight with Miss A and Miss M and it worked out quite well to have Miss L out of the way. But all was well. They all baked cakes, watched TV, painted t-shirts, ate pizza and generally had fun.
Oh and Mr K got the job.
