Doorway of Distinction

There are several entrances to the Quad (quadrangle) at the Riverside campus. This one is quite distinctive. Nowadays I walk through it seldom (because I am mostly at the Norco campus). The Riverside campus built in 1916 has fabulous architecture . . . with numerous distinctive entrances.

When I walk through this one many memories surface. I strolled through it hundreds of times when I was a re-entry student from '85-'88. My dream then was to land a job there. In September of '91 that dream was realized.

Today I was back there for one of numerous meetings we have each semester to discuss department issues, procedures, and policies that now stretch across three campuses of this college district.
