Eat and run

This little chickadee nearly escaped before I could capture this blip. He was so fast and the wind today was so strong. It's a wonder he could fly at all really. He would fly in, grab some seed and dart off within seconds. He must have been storing it.
Of course I was walking out the door having given up on seeing any birds today because of the high winds when I spotted this little guy. So here I was in my coat, scarf and hat with the curtains over my head trying to stealthily as possible become one with the curtains. All of a sudden I realize I've totally fogged up the viewing lens from being so overdressed overheated. I must have taken over a dozen shots to get two that were good due to constantly having to defog my lens.
