Two Beach Scenes

I enjoy "street scenes" many of which I've enjoyed on Blip.  Some folks are very good photographing such scenes.  My efforts today were toward two scenes on the beach today.  The first above includes 4 people playing a game with rolling balls like the ones in the foreground.  One of the things I like about street/beach scenes is the expression on the subjects' faces.  The second photo seems iconic to me with the two folks by the wheelchair looking like sentinals stationed to protect their loved one from all the activities of the beach and the potential danger of the ocean while allowing her the joys of the smell, sounds, and sight of the waves and ocean spray.
