If you go down the the woods ...

Headed over to Loch of Lowes to see the Ospreys (or rather the female sitting on the nest with 2 chicks hidden from view).  Extra was taken through telescope.

We then headed to the Cally Car Park and the Atholl Estate where we took a short walk through the woods to one of the caves marked on the OS map.  The woods felt almost other worldly - very quiet, very green with lots of moss and ferns and rhondendrons still in bloom.  

Train down to Edinburgh beckons tonights and with that the usual questions a) will it be on time and b) will the reservations be in place. The answer to both usually being no.  Last weeks was over 30 mins late and didnt make up the time so I duly applied for and was awarded compensation.
