THISTLE AND BEES.

Left early for the canal and met up with the swans, but the sad new is, that there were only four cygnets and not five. I am hoping that maybe one was in the reeds feeding, but on the way back only four were on the nest.
It was so peaceful, no cyclists and no joggers, so it paid to go early. The birds were singing and the canal smelt of wild roses which are all along the canal.
On the way back saw this thistle with, not one, but two bees, so this is  my blip for today. The extra is some wildlife that turned up in my garden.
Went to a yoga class today, and then got some gardening done, although now it is getting showery.
