Deer

We had a cycle into town this morning. There was the usual outdoor antiques fair which we often visit and there was also another outdoor event called Swan Market which tours the country and stops here every now and then. It's a 'hand-made' fair, so the makers are all there, often sitting behind their stalls making their next products to sell. They bring with them a great selection of food-trucks, so the air is filled with the most wonderful smells.

We tend to leave or bicycles near the deer-park as it's always nice to check on them and see how they are doing. There are around 4 really young ones just now which are stealing all the attention of the passers-by. Most of the time the deer are under the shade of the big trees when it's hot like today but this group must have fancied making the most of the afternoon sun...and who can blame them after the real downpours and strong winds we've had lately.
