with all the fresh water that's fallen. Think this is the reason for the Dragonfly absence too. Will have to wait for it to warm up. However, there was plenty of bird life, Lapwings, Oystercatchers and Curlew all had young wandering about and tried to deter me wherever I went. The Wheatears and Osprey had similar ideas.
