'The Dragonfly'

A nice weather day today, cool and a little drizzle in the morning, then a warmish sunny afternoon.

I've been busy building a new enclosure for the guinea pigs today so that we can separate the male and female into their own areas. Apparently we'll be giving the babies away to another family next week as the'll be old enough to be separated from their mother.

Went out for a blip run around the Diamond Creek this evening and found this little Dragonfly, or is it a Damselfly? Not sure, maybe someone can tell me. It was flying from branch to branch stopping for 10 or 20 seconds in each spot, which was just enough time to reset, focus and snap an image or two. Would really have loved to have a macro lens in my kit to do these type of shots justice, Ahyhoo, this will have to do, it was also hand held which probably didn't help me.

Have to finish off the enclosure tomorrow morning before visiting friends at lunchtime.
