A Juicy Pear!

A really hot day, we did walk 2 of The Sunflower (publishers) Book of Walks of Paxos & Antipaxos which was from Gaios, Paxos to Galazio Bay and return. A lovely short walk through Olive Groves, a deserted taverna and small hamlets. At the end, in Gaios town I bought a chilled litre of fresh orange juice which quenched the thirst!

Our villa has attracted cats, a snake and now a couple of goats as Mrs BB feeds them. She gave me a pear to give to this goat outside our villa and he must have thought Christmas had come early!!

After a couple of evenings eating feta pasties bought from the bakery, on the harbourside, and then enjoying drinks in a bar, we are having an evening in with a greek salad, fresh bread and a new box of chilled rose wine!  Goats, cats and snakes not invited.
