Green

Not quite to plan, I took my camera out on Bailey's post-tea walk to try and capture a patch of poppies around the corner but they were not as picturesque close up with the backdrop of the ditch that is being dug. Instead, it is the overgrown area by the quarry gate which has definitely benefited from the rain this week. 

I have had a productive day - not ticking off all the jobs on the list but that was an impossible task anyway. I have interspersed work jobs with washing, ironing, a supermarket trip and some catch-up telly in the background at times. Bailey has slept. And chased pigeons.
