Standing Alone

Stopped in Benicia, California, a port and industrial city located in the North Bay area of the San Francisco Bay. The tree sitting tall and alone at the summit of a hill caught my attention. I do not have any information about it’s scientific name.

What I found alluring are the repeating patterns of the branches and how the midday sun illuminated the tree creating interesting contrast. Thus my Blip for Father’s Day.
