Alexander Palace Farmers market

I think this is my favourite farmers market - and the nearest. It is situated on a slip road at the bottom of Alexander Palace and has a great variety of stalls, none really of which fits into what l would think of as a local farmer but is on the whole local produce.
I went there to buy some cheese from a London cheesemaker also some delicious rye and cranberry bread and some beetroot from Kent where l am going tomorrow!
No need to buy veg as we are now eating from the allotment - lettuce and salad leaves galore, garlic and onion, courgette, peas and mange tout and strawberry and raspberries. We have tomatoes but still green and very shortly new potatoes.
