Black Cockatoo eating

I love hearing the mournful call of these birds and seeing flocks fly overhead. I don't often see them close up so I was delighted when a few landed in next door's garden (not the neighbour with the cat, the other side!) and one began eating the fruit from a nearby low bush. I was right up at the fence balancing on a stump, trying to get a clear view. Luckily the bird was too absorbed in the bush tucker to worry about my closeness.
