Distant views

We had lunch at the pub next door today (great) and then went on to The Bog car park. There was an old lead mine community there in the late 1700\1800’s and you could see an old mine entrance and other ruined buildings. We decided to try and walk up to Nipstone Rock, but eventually we reached the field shown in my photo which was too waterlogged for us to continue any further. The view was nice though! We then walked back down and had a cream tea in The Bog visitor centre. I just had to buy a souvenir pen saying “I’ve been to The Bog”!!
