N Z flag.

Whilst cleaning keeping busy today I came across our N Z flag. Our original flag finally gave up the ghost a few years ago. We have always meant to buy a proper flagpole but have never got round to it. As John is almost there ( 5 hours away from Auckland as I blip) Chloe and I thought we would erect a home made flagpole and fly the flag!!

Thanks to Flightradar we have followed John’s flight... even Euan!! The final part of the journey was always one we looked forward to in the past. Auckland to Dunedin can be very picturesque... Mt Cook and The Remarkables come to mind. However, it was never winter  when we visited . The walk from the International to Domestic  terminal was great too after all those hours on a plane. I almost wish I was there!

Hopefully we will get a call before bedtime to say he has arrived safely  in Auckland and  then a short flight onwards to be with his N Z family in Dunedin .
