A Surprise in the Garden

A single red poppy has appeared in my garden, I couldn't let that pass without sharing it as it will probably be gone by tomorrow.
I love the way the petals are all crinkley ( is that a word?) ........it reminds me of the crepe paper we used to have as children...but I can't for the life of me remember what we used it for ;-)))
