The second half of life..

By twigs

Mother-daughter time

Relief - well almost! After a very hot and sticky night the sound of a few raindrops on the roof was very welcome. Sadly, it only lasted a few seconds before passing over. We did have the hint of a few more drops during the day and the cloud coverseemed to cool things a little, though it has still been very hot and sticky.

Spent a very relaxed day sitting, talking, eating, drinking and walking to the next bay which was about 45 minutes walk over the hill. Myself, J & M, 2 of their 3 children and J's Mum and dad. A lovely walk through bush . . . . . checking out the damage done by last year's heavy rain, naming trees, sitting on the beach stripping a walking stick of its bark whilst M & I collected mussells from the rocks to have before tea later on, chatting. A golden beach with pretty much just us and another couple or two there, far enough away that it was possible to belive we were the only ones.

Time and space have no meaning. This is the kind of living I love.
