CROSS SECTION

The Mono Monday theme is " section".  As I was eating a kiwi fruit as part of my breakfast I took the easy option and took a photo of a cross section of it for my blip shot. Thanks to laurie54 for hosting.

For my musical track I decided to feauture  KIWI singer Hayley Westenra singing the New Zealand national Anthem.

I made an early start today so that I could get Colin all sorted and ready to travel South.  He was due to be picked up around 1.30pm.  However he didn't need my help.  He was all packed and had even cut his hair and trimmed his beard.  He was at the window watching out from 1pm.  Glad he was looking forward to his trip.

I had to leave for my Fitness Class at around 1.40pm and Colin was still here.  I said I would hang on and wait till he was picked up but he said I should just go to my class. 

When I got home he had gone and he phoned around 7pm to let me know he had arrived safely - exhausted and ready for an early night.

I went to Slimming Club this evening. I was pleased to lose 2 pounds.

We had lovely weather today.  Very sunny all day.  It was windy but it was a warm wind.
