Proud Mum Alert - Over Windsor

Today is the day.  Proud Mum Alert.

It is the first time I have been a passenger with No 2 son as the First Officer.  Very emotional for me after all the training and hard work he has undertaken. 

My Mum contributed to some of his early flying lessons when he was a teenager and she would have been so proud of her grandson today as indeed we were too.

Although he has been working as a pilot for some time this was the first opportunity we had to go somewhere with him at a weekend and when it wasn't a flight at stupid o'clock.

We arrived in Bologna in the early evening and were able to have dinner with him at a local restaurant that had been recommended.  Very tasty too.
