Grandson Elliot preparing for tomorrow's presentation of this summer's school project - Greece. Last year he did a brilliant job on Germany.

Granddaughter Charlotte probably in this instance a welcome assistant with the filo pastry as she is a baking & cooking nut. Elliot by choice is an eating nut as proved yesterday in our phone call where he gave me booking instructions for which Pizza restaurant we were to visit when they are over soon.

Apart from the documentation about the country they choose, they also take along a sample of the country's national cuisine for their class to try.

Last year pretzels & I suspect a few gallons of beer went down well. This year it is Baklava & I would point out on the left-hand side of the photo, Grandad's Bavarian honey. I should have tested him yesterday by asking who was the first King of Modern Greece. Would have made the dish even more appropriate.

As an absolute Greece/Greek fan myself, I will be very interested to see the results of the presentation. Last year I got it in photographic form but this year I am told,  I will get my own private viewing when he is here via the school's Google Drive account.

The extra photo shows that the job was wonderfully completed. Shame there isn't a digital way to have a bite.
