A day of tennis

Today saw the annual Christmas tournament at Cambridge University Real Tennis Club. It started at 08:30am and was completed at 10:15pm. I played my matches early on and was eliminated fairly soon but I popped in at various times to watch other games and the final stages. 30 people took part - with a wide range of playing abilities. The handicap system we use means that everyone has a chance to compete on even terms with just about anyone else. The tournament winner turned our to be the person with the worst numerical handicap!
