Bird on a Branch.

Out for a short walk to get some fresh air and to look for today's picture. On a dull and overcast day, the only interesting things I could see were the filigree patterns the leafless tree branches made against the grey sky. Suddenly, this little bird appeared and settled. ( I don't know what it is, I'm sorry to say) I took this shot and hoped it would hop along a bit so that the background was clear of twigs, but no luck, it flew away.
