A weekend adventure ...

I had a concert in Cumbria on Saturday, so decided to make a bit of a road trip of it ..

I stayed overnight with my sister on Friday - left Maisie with her. Played in my concert and camped nearby overnight. Went to my squirrel area (via and bacon and egg butty in a biker cafe in Hawes) .. I only saw two squirrels and one of those was while I was driving, which was a bit disappointing - but here's the other one! It was overcast and drizzly so less than perfect photography weather!

Then on to Sutton Bank to see the turtle doves - I saw them but they're very, very skittish so didn't co-operate much for photos!

Then back to my sister's.

A very fine road trip indeed.
