Another blip, another ruined building. I can see a theme developing here...

A grey, wet day. Youngest Son and I went for a walk when the rain stopped falling. Our way home took us along the old railway (Dumfries to Moniaive). This hut is all that remains of Newtonairds Station. What a pity. Cyclists and walkers have long wished that a proper path could be made, but the main difficulties are places where the line once crossed the Cairn Water, and where no bridges now survive.
