Feeding time....

My little bird feeding station is becoming very popular. This afternoon it was buzzing with juvenile blue tits and sparrow. I was happily watching them flit in and out as I did the washing up and then my eyes caught a flash of red and who should appear but a Lesser spotted Woodpecker. I've heard them about but this is the first time I've seen them in my garden...(pic in extras..excuse poor quality as taken through kitchen window) He flew away when I opened the back door but I did spot him in a tree a little way away. Also spotted a wren but was far to slow to get a picture..( again!!) I will work on that one
