Yemistes
Firstly, many thanks for all the hearts, stars and comments on yesterday's blip; I'm riding high on the Popular pages at the moment!
Today's blip shot rather reminds me of those pictures you used to get in cookbooks years ago; think Mary Berry in 1972 in a Hamlyn publication. What do you do when you find an aubergine in the fridge that needs using up? You go and buy green peppers and large tomatoes and plenty of garlic, mint and parsley and make Yemistes of course; Greek stuffed vegetables. They may not look up to much but the kitchen smells like a Greek Taverna at the moment and they taste wonderful even though I say it myself. Now, where did I leave that Metaxa? Yamas!
