Shiver me timbers - instead of walking along the canal - a group of Bus Pass Walkers sailed on it - the voyage on Toby the barge - took in Kildwick

Managed to cast off - didn’t need to weigh the anchor - soon knew our aft from our stern - opened both swing and road bridges - no walking of the plank was required - Davy Jones’s locker wasn’t seen - and despite having Prosecco with lunch didn’t have a drunken sailor on board

Didn’t cost many pieces of silver and the time just sailed by
