Ferry on the Mira

Crossed the Mira River in the same small ferry that we caught years ago, over to Furnas beach, where we watched two French women kitesurfing in the rather wild Atlantic waters. 

When you want to cross back over to the town, you basically stand on one of the two jetties and wave your arms till the ferrymen (nephews of the woman who owns it) see you, which is what the two walkers on the jetty in the distance had been doing. Five euros return journey.
