Peeping Purple Plants
I've been wanting to blip these for over a week now. I love the contrasting purple and green against the weathered grey fence.
I don't know what these plants are but they've crept underneath the fence from the adjacent garden. The bees are busy on the flowers.
A much needed singing lesson this morning to shake up the core muscles which have atrophied in Judy's absence. I was pleased that they came back into use so soon, relatively.
Basil was pleased to do his regular inspection of her garden. And then we came home.
Garry visited in the afternoon to fetch some photographic directories. I showed him the spreadsheet used to collate competition scores.
I should have been on a camera club outing to Bradgate Park this evening but it started raining. You can do long exposures in the rain, but only really if someone else is holding the umbrella. So it's the box tonight.
Coda: have discovered that this is Purple Toadflax. Grows wild but is also a cottage garden plant
