Took the Land-Rover down to Meldrum for its MoT test this morning and while it was in had a walk about the village taking in such sights as the bypass, the William Forsyth Community Garden, the bakery (where I got a fine sausage roll) and this wee plaque marking the birthplace of Sir Patrick Manson whom I admit I had never heard of before seeing this today. So I learned two things today, one about this guy, the other was that the Land-Rover failed its test, but not badly and is fixable so will be back in for a re-test later in the week ...
