Op-art

Took the day off work and headed into town with mum. First stop was St Giles Cathedral, and then onto the Bridget Riley exhibition at the National Gallery.
And it was fabulous. It’s impossible to do it justice in a photo - no photo can show the movement and imagined colours. Every time you look you see something new. There’s a mathematical beauty in it. Sine waves, parabolas and not-quite-repeating patterns.
