Now I wait

I had my injection today and the doctor was pleased with how it went.  It's very painful in a unique kind of way - enormous pressure traveling down the nerve very slowly as the cortisone gradually fills the narrow space around it.  I'm hoping I won't have to do it again for a very long time.

The sciatica will continue to hurt as the medication starts to work on shrinking the nerve, so there won't be any speedy relief, but I'm hoping to begin feeling a lot better by next week. 

I spotted these plants in the parking lot of the hospital and thought the tiny flowers would be just the thing for Tiny Tuesday.
