Wide Wednesday.....River/Lake/Water

Some rain today, but not as bad as it has been. I took a walk to the opposite end of our local park for some shots of the river Chew. Not a lot going on there, but a young man who saw me with my camera, pointed out an old tree where two kingfishers apparently nest at the bottom of it....might be worth another look on a better day. ..
Did see a lovely little summerhouse perfectly placed on the embankment for a tranquil outlook on to the river....see extra.

Thanks very much for the interest in yesterday's image, I do now believe they were seed heads, and it had flowered while I was away......shame :))
