Jumbo bag

We took delivery of a jumbo bag of bark for the garden today.  This had to be carefully timed as the cars had to be moved off the drive, the gardener present, and labour available (Ben) to transport the bark from the giant bag into the garden by wheelbarrow.

Of course 20 minutes after delivery it started to rain - a lot - and so the gardener cancelled, and Ben went to the gym instead.

I'd got so wet walking the dog that I decided to see how much I could move in the rain when I got back.  I managed half of it by myself and back-from-the-gym-Ben then dragged the rest of it undercover and off the drive.

We'll try to finish the job tomorrow and in the meantime it was a hot bath for me and an appointment with my bookgroup later.
