Cyanotypes

I treated myself to a workshop at the Brewery in Kendal today, to learn something new. Cyanotypes prints are produced by placing flowers, leaves or other objects on a sensitised plate and then exposing it to either uv light or sunlight, which fixes the coating. The plate is then washed in water to remove the unexposed emulsion and to reveal the image over a blue background - quite a magical process.
