What a day!
This year our local council decided not to do flower beds AFTER growing the flowers in the nursery.

To cut a long story short we managed to get 300 begonias to plant. I was told they were coming this afternoon . They arrived in what we call the local undertaker’s “deid wagon.” You have to laugh. They were obviously doing our local councillor a favour. People have noticed John is missing from our walks, the garden etc. I hope they didn’t come to the wrong conclusion when they saw this vehicle ! I asked the men why they brought the flowers and was told they were passing on their way to pick up a chap at the local parlour!

John has just FaceTimed and is looking forward to meeting up with Donna, his sister today.
