Quaich and Reflection

We were given this piece by my parents in law as an engagement gift in 1971.

Several years ago, we 'lost' it in the depths of a cupboard and had convinced ourselves we had accidentally thrown it out in amongst rubbish or old clothes. However, it turned up at last, black with tarnish and is taking a helluva lot of careful cleaning.

I was taken by the reflection in the black glass.
